The Smart Dwelling provides home renovation, remodeling, interior design, installation, and maintenance services. Specific service offerings, pricing, and timelines will be outlined in individual project contracts. We reserve the right to decline or modify any project based on scope, location, or feasibility.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Prices are based on current material and labor costs, which may fluctuate. A written, fixed-price contract will be provided before any work begins. Additional work requested beyond the original scope will be billed separately with your written approval.

4. Payment Terms

Project payments are typically structured as: 30% deposit upon contract signing, 30% at midpoint milestone, 30% near completion, and 10% final payment after walkthrough. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, and financing through approved partners. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

5. Project Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may be affected by weather, material availability, change orders, or unforeseen structural conditions. We commit to communicating any delays promptly and working diligently to minimize disruption.

6. Warranties

We provide a 3-year craftsmanship warranty on labor and installation. Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and vary by product. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or natural disasters is not covered.

7. Cancellation Policy

Projects may be cancelled with written notice. Deposits are refundable up to 5 business days after signing, less a $250 administrative fee. After work has commenced, cancellation is subject to payment for work completed and materials ordered.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Smart Dwelling shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability is limited to the project contract value. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions not disclosed before work begins.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Chelan County, Washington, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
